HOF Poll: Andy Pettitte

The Baseball Writers Association of America has released the ballot for the 2025 Baseball Hall of Fame voting, so we are doing polls on the players on the list.

Today is lefty starting pitcher Andy Pettitte.

Andy Pettitte was born in Louisiana but grew up in Texas, and was signed as a draft-and-follow by the New York Yankees after being taken in the 22nd round of the 1990 MLB Draft out of Deer Park High School, then pitching for a season for San Jacinto College.

Pettitte made the Yankees’ roster in 1995 and pitched his first five career games out of the bullpen before being sent down to AAA.
