ARLINGTON -- Jeff Banister was discussing how the wave his team was riding ended with a loss to Houston Wednesday night, and the Rangers manager left the media with this little philosophical gem:
"Every wave hits a beach," Banister said. "But there's another one right after it."
Especially, if you're the Rangers. Especially, if it's 2016.
Texas started a new wave with a 5-3 win over the Astros Thursday at Globe Life Park, and received good news on injuries to Yu Darvish and Adrian Beltre, who each left Wednesday's game with soreness.
There was every opportunity for doubt to creep in after the loss and injuries, but another wave came Thursday.
