The Texas Rangers aren't ready to say whether the new Globe Life Field will have natural grass or artificial turf, but they have made one decision that should make fans happy.
The seats in the new $1.2 billion retractable-roof ballpark will be wider than the current 18-inch ones in Globe Life Park.
That's good news for those fans who enjoy the fat-filled, high-caloric food offered by the Rangers, including Texas Snowballs — brisket rolled into balls, dipped in funnel-cake batter and deep-fried before being topped with powdered sugar. Because who doesn't like powdered sugar with brisket, right?
