ARLINGTON -- Rangers outfielder Josh Hamilton is headed to Double-A Frisco for four games through at least next Wednesday, the Rangers have announced.
Hamilton, acquired from the Angels on April 27, is currently on medical rehabilitation assignment with Triple-A Round Rock as he continues to recover from offseason right shoulder surgery. He will play for Round Rock on Thursday and Friday night.
Round Rock then goes on the road for a four-game series at Colorado Springs, so Hamilton will be assigned to Frisco beginning on Saturday. The RoughRiders have a four-game series against Corpus Christi that includes a 7:05 p.
