Hamels in line to start potential Game 5

ARLINGTON -- The Rangers are hoping to close out the American League Division Series on Monday, but have Cole Hamels lined up to start a potential Game 5 on Wednesday in Toronto if needed.

Hamels allowed four runs (two earned) in seven innings in Game 2 on Friday, so he would be pitching on four days' rest. The other choice would be Yovani Gallardo, who allowed two runs in five innings in Game 1 on Thursday. But the Rangers have won 11 straight games with Hamels on the mound.
