The Tampa Bay Rays and free agent infielder Ha-Seong Kim have agreed to terms on a two year, $29 million deal with an opt out after year one, per multiple reports.
The 29 year old played in the KBO before coming to the United States in 2021, signing a four year, $28 million deal with the San Diego Padres. Since a rough rookie season offensively, he has consistently been productive with the bat, as well as being a threat on the basepaths, and has played all three positions for San Diego, winning the utility player Gold Glove in 2023.
