SEATTLE - A few late-night thoughts on the Rangers after their 7-5 loss to Seattle Friday in what seemed an unseemly sloppy start to a long road trip:
-- The eighth inning seemed to sum up Shawn Tolleson's season all too perfectly. He came on in a one-run game and proceeded to strike Nelson Cruz out on a slider, only to have the ball skip away from catcher Robinson Chirinos and go all the way to the backstop.
It only got worse from there.
Tolleson couldn't handle Dae-Ho Lee's comebacker, which kicked off his foot.
