OAKLAND, Calif. - The Rangers won a game Tuesday and maybe the best way to describe manager Jeff Banister’s reaction to the evening was exasperation.
An odd reaction, perhaps.
But only on the surface.
Beneath the 10-6 final was this: In a game the Rangers led by six runs going to the ninth, Banister still ended up using closer Sam Dyson.
