ARLINGTON -- Rangers outfielder Carlos Gomez's best game in weeks saw him depart early due to a right hamstring strain.
In the seventh inning of the Rangers' 6-4 win Sunday, Gomez scored from second base on an infield hit, but favored his right leg as he walked off the field after touching home plate.
He will have an MRI on Monday and be further evaluated.
Gomez was 3-for-3 with a double in Sunday's game. It was his first game with at least three hits since April 29, when he hit for his second career cycle, and just his third game with at least three hits this season.
