MLB Rumors: Gerrit Cole has the New York Yankees, Los Angeles Dodgers and Los Angeles Angels after him, with Jeff Passan saying those three teams are seen as the favorite for the free agent right handed starting pitcher. Passan says teams will be making initial offers soon, and Jon Heyman says initial offers are supposed to be submitted early next week. Heyman lists the Texas Rangers and the Philadelphia Phillies as being linked to Cole, as well.
The consensus seems to be that the Yankees have made Cole their top priority, and are prepared to do whatever it takes in the way of a contract offer to land him.
