Good morning, LSB.
Well the big Rangers news from yesterday was the naming of their Opening Day starter in Lance Lynn. Evan Grant writes that Rangers’ manager Chris Woodward had been ready to announce Lynn as the opener back in March right before everything shut down, but he made the announcement official yesterday.
Jeff Wilson has more quotes from Woodward, who says he went back and forth between Lynn and Mike Minor on who would take the bump to kick off the season.
Elsewhere, TR Sullivan talked to Rangers’ communications boss Jon Blake, who says that presently the team is planning on operating under the 50% capacity guidelines as given by the state of Texas.
