ARLINGTON - A win on Saturday night does not mask the growing crisis for the Rangers in their bullpen.
Their closer, Shawn Tolleson, is wobbling.
Tolleson gave up a three-run lead in the ninth inning, but the Rangers recovered from that gut punch to defeat Toronto , 6-5 in n10 innings at Globe Life Park on a walk-off homer by Drew Stubbs. It was the club's first extra-innings win of the season.
Tolleson allowed two homers without finishing the ninth. The Rangers bullpen leads the American League in homers allowed with 24. The Chicago White Sox, who have the league's best record, have given up four bullpen homers.
