MLB Rumors: Derek Holland and the San Francisco Giants have reportedly agreed to a one year, $7 million deal with a 2020 option, per multiple reports. Holland’s base salary for 2020 would be $6.5 million, according to Evan Grant, with escalators that would make the deal worth as much as $15 million over two years.
The Texas Rangers had reportedly been talking to Holland about a possible reunion with Texas, as Holland had a solid bounceback season in 2018 after struggling mightily with the Chicago White Sox in 2017.
