Five kinda, sorta important things we learned during the Rangers-Astros series:
Head games: Over the last 12 months, the Rangers dominance of the Astros is the kind of thing that does create a potential psychological edge. The Rangers are 15-4 against Houston since last April 21 and have won 10 straight games in Arlington. They have outscored Houston 113-77 and beaten up the Astros pitching staff by hitting .308 with an .871 OPS and 27 homers in 19 games. The teams meet again in mid-May in Houston and in Arlington in early June. Six of the final nine meetings, however, are in Houston.
