ESPN’s top 100 prospect list has dropped

Kiley McDaniel of ESPN has released his top 100 prospect list today, and you will be shocked — SHOCKED — to learn that the Texas Rangers placed three players on the list.

Sebastian Walcott was the highest ranked Ranger prospect, coming in at #19 on the list, between Noah Schultz of the Chicago White Sox (who was also one spot ahead of him on the MLB Pipeline list) and Josue De Paula of the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Next up is Kumar Rocker at #35, who McDaniel describes as having two plus-plus pitches, two plus pitches, and above-average control.
