The Rangers come out of the All Star Break with a three game home series against the Baltimore Orioles, and the pitching matchups have been announced.
Tonight, Nathan Eovaldi is facing off against Orioles ace Corbin Burnes. On Saturday, Max Scherzer goes up against young gun Grayson Rodriguez. On Sunday, Andrew Heaney will be squaring off against prize of the Manny Machado trade Dean Kremer.
This means the Rangers are rolling with the same three pitchers in this series who faced the Houston Astros in last weekend’s series. Eovaldi and Scherzer are, I think, viewed currently by the club as their top two starters, and each of them is able to go on five days rest due to the Break.
