Domingo German, New York Yankees pitcher, has been placed on administrative leave pursuant to the Joint MLB-MLBPA Domestic Violence Policy, it was announced today. The initial period German can be on administrative leave is up to seven days, though that period can be extended.
Per MLB, the league’s Department of Investigations is investigating whatever happened that triggered this placement. I have not seen any information thusfar indicating what occurred, or allegedly occurred.
German last pitched for the Yankees last night, and has a solid 2019 campaign for them, putting up a 4.
