ARLINGTON -- Rangers pitcher Yu Darvish picked a bad time to set a new career high for most home runs allowed in a game.
Darvish gave up four home runs runs in five innings to the Blue Jays on Friday afternoon in Game 2 of the American League Division Series. Darvish went five innings and allowed just five hits, but four of them left the park.
Troy Tulowitzki hit a two-run home run off Darvish in the second inning to give the Blue Jays a 2-0 lead. In the fifth, with the Rangers trailing 2-1, Darvish gave up solo home runs to Kevin Pillar, Ezequiel Carrera and Edwin Encarnacion.
