Curtis Terry was lifted from Thursday’s Round Rock Express game after a double, in what Evan Grant says on Twitter is a move made in anticipation of Terry joining the Rangers in Houston on Friday.
Terry, 24, is a righthanded hitting 1B/DH who has had a breakout campaign for AAA Round Rock this year, slashing .291/.373/.577 coming into play today. Terry split the 2019 between low-A and high-A, and turned heads this spring with an impressive camp. Terry will presumably be getting regular playing time at DH.
Jose Trevino, who is rehabbing with Frisco, also was lifted from the game this evening, and I’m guessing will also be activated tomorrow.
