MLB Rumors: C.J. Cron and Jonathan Schoop are both Detroit Tigers, with each player having agreed to 1 year, $6.1 million deals, per reports.
Cron, a righthanded first baseman who turns 30 next month, was a first round pick of the Angels in 2011. He was shipped to the Tampa Bay Rays for a player to be named later in January, 2018, then was claimed on waivers by the Minnesota Twins after the 2018 season. The Twins opted to non-tender Cron earlier this month.
