MLB Trade Rumors: Garrett Crochet has been traded to the Boston Red Sox by the Chicago White Sox in exchange for Kyle Teel, Braden Montgomery, Chase Meldroth and Wikelman Gonzalez, per multiple reports.
Crochet, a 25 year old lefthander, was the 11th overall pick in the 2020 MLB Draft out of the University of Tennessee. He spent 2020 and 2021 as a reliever for Chicago, but then underwent Tommy John surgery, which cost him all of 2022 and most of 2023.
