Cesar Ramos to start for Texas on Monday

The Texas Rangers have announced that lefthander Cesar Ramos will start tomorrow in Oakland, in place of Yu Darvish, who is missing his start tomorrow due to neck and shoulder soreness. There was a certain amount of intrigue in advance of this announcement, as both Kyle Lohse and Connor Sadzeck were pulled from their scheduled starts today at ÀÀA and AA, respectively, but as expected, Ramos, who has made three starts already this year, is getting the nod.

There seems to be an expectation that Sadzeck will, however, be promoted tomorrow, in order to give the Rangers a fresh arm in the bullpen behind Ramos.
