Carlos Gomez hit for the cycle — a single, double, triple and homer — and Yu Darvish struck out 10 batters in six innings as the Rangers beat the Angels 6-3 Saturday night at Globe Life Park.
How Rangers pitchers fared: Darvish was dominating for much of his six innings. He allowed two runs in the fourth, including an RBI double by Mike Trout after failing to get a Strike 3 called on a pitch just at or below the knees. Albert Pujols drove in the second run with a sacrifice fly to center to make it 2-0.
