Jeff Banister's first month on the job as Rangers manager was filled with cataclysmic events in the starting rotation. Each of his first two years included early upheaval in the bullpen. One other thing both those seasons have in common: AL West titles.
So, if Banister is flustered by what has happened to his bullpen in the two weeks since the Rangers broke camp, he wasn't showing it Wednesday.
"Nobody says, 'OK, you can hit pause,'" Banister said in the wake of more disturbing bullpen developments. "We're in the middle of grinding it out.
