Bradford shut down with elbow soreness

Related Topics: Texas Rangers, Cody Bradford

Texas Rangers pitcher Cody Bradford has been shut down for the next four to five days due to elbow soreness, per the beats. An MRI on the elbow came back clean, which is good news.

I want to publicly announce to the Baseball Gods that I recognize the error of my ways and that I am repenting of my sin of suggesting that the Rangers could consider trading Jon Gray to the Yankees.

Bradford being shut down comes on the heels of Tyler Mahle being shut down due to forearm soreness earlier this week. Both pitchers would seem to be questionable to be ready to go to start the season.
