ARLINGTON -- Third baseman Adrian Beltre gave the Rangers an early 3-0 lead with a milestone home run against the Mariners on Friday night at Globe Life Park.
Beltre launched a three-run shot off starter Erasmo Ramirez in the first inning. It was the 476th home run of Beltre's career, moving him past Stan Musial and Willie Stargell for 30th all-time.
Beltre now has 1,701 career RBIs, passing Jim Thome (1,699) for 24th all-time. He's hit seven of his 14 home runs in September and has six doubles, 12 RBIs and 12 runs scored in his last 16 games.
