Beltre hits 469th HR to pass Chipper all-time

NEW YORK -- Rangers third baseman Adrian Beltre passed Hall of Famer Chipper Jones on the all-time home run list with his two-run home run off of Masahiro Tanaka in the fourth inning on Friday night at Yankee Stadium.

Beltre's home run was his seventh of the season and the 469th of his career. That passes Jones for 33rd place all-time. Jones was inducted into the Hall of Fame last month in Cooperstown.
