HOUSTON -- Rangers outfielder Carlos Beltran exited Saturday's game against the Astros with a left quad contusion. He left the game after trying to score from first on a double by Rougned Odor to end the seventh. Earlier in the inning, Beltran hit an RBI single to give the Rangers a 2-1 lead.
Beltran started in right field. It was his first start in the outfield since being acquired from the Yankees on Monday. His previous four games had been at designated hitter.
