Baseball America’s got a new top 100 prospect list out, and there are several changes impacting the Rangers.
First of all, Leody Taveras is no longer the top Ranger on the list — Taveras has dropped from #49 in the previous rankings to #67 on the list, no doubt a reflection of the uninspiring offensive season he has had in the Carolina League. He’s trailing Willie Calhoun, currently #50 on the list, up from #54, and Julio Pablo Martinez, who is #55, down from #51.
The big news, though, is that Hans Crouse has finally made the list.
