First-year skipper Jeff Banister has been recognized for his work in the Rangers' American League West-winning season in 2015, as he was named one of three finalists for the BBWAA AL Manager of the Year Award.
Banister is up against the Astros' A.J. Hinch and the Twins' Paul Molitor; the winner will be announced on Nov. 17 at 5 p.m. CT on MLB Network.
