Texas Rangers third baseman Asdrubal Cabrera has been suspended for four games due to throwing his batting gloves after being ejected by umpire Bill Miller during the Rangers game on Wednesday, MLB announced today. The gloves supposedly hit Miller in the leg. Cabrera was also fined.
Cabrera has announced that he is appealing the suspension, so he is still eligible to play until the suspension is resolved. Once Cabrera does get suspended, I would suspect that Logan Forsythe will get the bulk of the playing time at third base in his place.
