No matter how many people cursed Elvis Andrus on Monday night and will continue to do so throughout the season, it’s hard to say argue that he isn’t a cool dad.
The popular/catchy/annoying children song “Baby Shark” was played before each Andrus at-bat Monday against the Cleveland Indians, as a gift to his son, and the Texas Rangers shortstop said that the song is here to stay, under one condition.
“Hopefully, Baby Shark can hit well,” he said.
Andrus selected the song because it is the favorite of his nearly 2-year-old son, Elvis Emilio.
