The American League MLB All Star voting for the 2019 All Star Game is ongoing, and with a chunk of ballots in, we have an update on where the voting stands.
Hunter Pence is performing best, currently sitting at 2nd place in the voting for the DH spot, behind J.D. Martinez. Elvis Andrus is 9th right now among shortstops, with the Twins’ Jorge Polanco currently occupying the top spot.
Two Rangers are among the leading vote-getters in the outfield — Joey Gallo is 8th, just behind Aaron Judge, while Shin-Soo Choo is 18th, slotted between Trey Mancini and Kevin Kiermaier.
