SURPRISE, Ariz. -- He has remade himself once, going from offensive outcast to borderline slugger.
Now comes Phase II of the Rebuilding Elvis Andrus project: It's all about the Gold Glove.
"I know for sure I can win one," Andrus said. "Throughout the years, I've known I have everything I need to win the Gold Glove. It is something I really want, something I'm working really hard on. It's a main goal for me."
It has eluded him for nine years. He entered the majors in 2009 as an athletic 20-year-old and the replacement to the reigning AL Gold Glove winner, Michael Young.
