Adrian Beltre returns to Rangers lineup as DH only after latest hamstring injury

Adrian Beltre, who hadn't played since coming up lame rounding third base on Monday, returned to the lineup Saturday despite what he labeled a Grade 2 hamstring strain. Beltre was the DH - and will be for the foreseeable future.

Beltre will likely be a part-time player, even in that role, for some time. It is unlikely he would play Sunday, a day game after a night game. He will rotate with Shin-Soo Choo at DH.

Choo can also play the outfield to spell Nomar Mazara, who missed nearly four weeks with a thumb sprain and has dealt with leg issues this season.
