Texas Rangers third baseman Adrian Beltre is expected to make an appearance in tomorrrow's season finale, according to manager Jeff Banister (via the beat guys on Twitter). Beltre, who is dealing with a muscle pull, has not played since the Rangers were eliminated, but Banister wants to give the home crowd the opportunity to acknowledge Beltre one last time this year.
While we don't want to think about it, it isn't out of the realm of possibility that this could be Beltre's final game as a Ranger. Beltre has one year remaining on a two year, $36 million extension he signed prior to 2016 (and that a few people dumbly complained about, because they hate fun).
