Minor carried a perfect game into the seventh inning. The bid ended with Eric Hosmer's clean, one-out ground single up the middle.
It was the only base-runner Minor allowed in seven innings. There was no sense of what-might-have-been. What Minor might be becoming is of more interest to the Rangers.
This was Minor's fourth consecutive quality start, his longest streak since 2014 with Atlanta.
