The Texas Rangers did not score a run but the Chicago Cubs scored seven runs.
The Rangers are quite the bundle of contradictions early this season. There’s so much you can see going wrong and yet they’re 8-3. It feels bad to harp on the areas where they are not performing when they are also winning.
Tonight, however, at a frigid Wrigley Field where the Rangers didn’t ever seem particularly amiable to the compulsory few hours of outdoor activities in below freezing conditions (can’t say I blame them), nearly every early deficiency reared its ugly head.
