The Texas Rangers scored six runs while the Anaheim Angels scored four runs.
Jack Leiter combined the flavor of his most recent two outings into another decent but mildly unsatisfying start as he immediately gave up a couple of first inning runs just as he did in the outing in Chicago and then pitched into the sixth inning tonight, only to be lifted after allowing a baserunner. That inherited run came around to put another run on his ledger, just as in his start against the Yankees.
Overall, Leiter went five innings and allowed three runs on two hits and two walks while striking out six in 86 pitches.
