The youngsters take the headlines again tonight as Kolby Allard won his fourth game in six starts since coming to Texas in a trade deadline deal with the Braves and a Nick Solak home run produced the tying and go-ahead runs for an offense that continues to putter along in the season’s final month.
Allard wasn’t missing bats tonight like he had been able to in his previous starts with Texas but he kept the O’s off the board for much of his time on the mound before a sixth inning sac fly opened the scoring.
