Yohander Mendez finally made the start promised to him back in June before he commited an uh-oh and got demoted back to square one in the minor leagues. Mendez made good on his efforts to make it all the way back by allowing zero runs on three hits in six innings as he picked up his first win as a starter in just his second career start in the big leagues.
Don’t go out and celebrate too hard, though, my dude.
