The Texas Rangers scored seven runs! The nine game road trip has come to an end and the Rangers produced a third of their offensive output on this trip in today’s finale alone. Better late than never, I suppose.
It wasn’t a good road trip for Texas but a 3-6 record isn’t as catastrophic as it could have been when you consider the fact that the Rangers scored below their season average in every game on the trip until today.
In addition to the bats finally having a nice day at the plate, Kolby Allard also looked pretty good in his second start on the mound for Texas, especially if you consider this is a Blue Jays team that scored 19 runs against Texas as recently as Monday night.
