The Texas Rangers scored a run while the Pittsburgh Pirates did not.
It took 23 innings but the Rangers finally scored a run for the first time since Monday, the only run of the game, in the ninth inning with Wyatt Langford coming through with a two-out, walk-off winner.
The victory — even as it felt like pulling teeth at times — earned Texas a series win for the first time since sweeping Chicago and just their second series win since mid-July.
Player of the Game: Andrew Heaney gave up five hits but just one walk and zero runs in five innings of work spanning 90 pitches.
