The Texas Rangers scored two runs but the Baltimore Orioles scored three runs.
Jordan Lyles had a nice outing in his final start on the road this season as he went 6 2⁄3 innings and allowed three runs on seven hits with four strikeouts and one walk.
The wheels came off for Lyles in the seventh as he allowed all three runs after six scoreless but you can’t argue too much with a quality start from Lyles at this point.
Nevertheless, a quality start wasn’t enough as the Rangers couldn’t muster enough offense against the worst team in the league and fell for the 99th time this season.
