The Oakland Coliseum has been a modern day house of horrors for the Rangers over basically the entire run of the franchise so when the A’s scored three easy first inning runs off Ariel Jurado before folks had even settled into their seats, I was already mentally writing this one off.
But then Jurado didn’t allow another run to cross the plate for six more innings and suddenly the Rangers were putting runs on the board by the barrelful against old foe Brett Anderson and company with five in the fifth, five in the sixth, and one more in the seventh for good measure.
