Tanner Scheppers allows four runs in the 8th to rob Martin Perez of his first win in over a year but the Rangers rallied back to win
For a while there it looked like this game was a carbon copy of last night's game as Martin Perez, just like Matt Harrison last night, looked on his way to winning a game for the first time in 14 months before Tanner Scheppers vulture'd him and turned an 8-4 lead into an 8-8 tie in the bottom of the 8th.
Luckily for Texas, Elvis Andrus came through with a two-run RBI single with the bases loaded in the top of the 9th and the Rangers ended up winning a game that turned out to be very similar to Monday's failed comeback but in reverse.
