The Rangers were able to run their winning streak to five games in a row even though catcher Logan O’Hoppe tried his hardest to evoke the painful memories of backstops enjoying a career night against Texas.
O’Hoppe, of course, doesn’t really deserve to be in the same category of the Shea Langeliers, Travis D’Arnaud, and Jake Rogers of surprising backstops to terrorize Texas. O’Hoppe is a legit every day weapon and arguably should have been an All-Star this season.
