4-7 - Rangers score many runs against Rays to end slide with 8-3 victory

The Texas Rangers scored eight runs and the Tampa Bay Rays scored three runs.

The Rangers went 22 innings without scoring a run and then scored a run in the first inning of tonight’s contest. After trailing 2-1 following the first inning, the Rangers next scored four runs in the top of the fourth despite coming into the game having scored four runs total in their last 40 innings. Ain’t that just the way.

Up 5-2, the Rangers eventually plated another run in the top of the sixth and a Charlie Culberson two-run dong in the top of the eighth piled on to a big lead that wouldn’t be relinquished.
