The Texas Rangers scored six runs while the Kansas City Royals scored two runs.
Tonight’s ballgame had the look of one of those more dubious 2024 Rangers games with Texas going a turn through the order without a hit against a guy who was sporting a mid-6 ERA in June all while the Royals grabbed a lead thanks to a No. 9 hitter running into one for a solo home run.
Heck, the Rangers even squandered a chance to break open the game once they finally did get to Kansas City starter Brady Singer in the fourth, but they once again failed to muster a crooked number despite loading the bases with just one out.
