The Texas Rangers scored five runs while the New York Mets scored three runs.
There was a lot of angry folks out on at ballfield tonight with both teams not particularly happy with the way the umpires were calling things.
Meanwhile, throughout all the gesticulating, the Rangers found themselves in familiar territory without a hit heading into the sixth inning. They had, however, gotten on the board via a bases loaded HBP in the first frame but still trailed 3-1 going into the the later innings.
However, they were able to finally solve lefty starter Sean Manaea for a couple of runs to tie the game and, for the first time in a while, were the team that found the late inning runs to put themselves out in front and put an end to a dreadful losing skid.
